Mel Pritchard

Associate of Becky Sherrington Speech, Language

and Communication Therapy. 

Having qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2011, Mel worked in the NHS as part of the Pre School and School age teams. She worked in a variety of settings including nurseries, children centres, mainstream schools, specialist language units, in clinic and in the home. 

After having her 3 children, Mel helped set up a charity in Warwickshire which supports families with young children. This led her to providing speech and language support for some of these families who have needed it as well as running child development groups in Stratford upon Avon and Shipston on Stour. Mel is now working as a Private Speech and Language Therapist alongside her work for the charity. Mel am based near Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire. 

Mel is an active member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP) and the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) as well as having an enhanced DBS certificate. 

Working with children is highly rewarding and Mel feels very privileged being part of the journey to help them grow.
